- Go to the Facebook website at facebook.com
- On Facebook, click in the top right corner.
- Click Settings under Settings & Privacy.
- In the left column, click Your Facebook Details.
- Click Deactivation and deletion.
- Click Proceed to Account Deactivation after selecting Deactivate Account, then follow the on-screen direction to confirm.
To reactivate your account, simply check-in online or use your Facebook account to log in to a third-party app. You must have access to the email address or mobile number you use to log in
How to delete your Facebook account
Before deleting your account, Facebook advises downloading a copy of your information so you keep it and don’t lose any posts you’ve made. This is crucial if you want to preserve any photographs or posts that your friends have shared.

How to Stop Facebook from Deleting Your Account
